Harboured Resentment started, as many good ideas do, with a group of colleagues reflecting, debriefing and laughing about the messy parts of life, work and the people we encounter along the way.

Because sometimes the only way to survive life’s ridiculous moments is to turn them into something funny.

• The meetings that could have been emails.

• The passive-aggressive messages.

• The family comments that live rent-free in your head.

• The builder who vanished 

• The laptop that died mid-crisis

• The friendship fallouts

• The dating disasters

• The almost apologies

• The turtle that chose violence

• The “quick chats” that were anything but quick

• The small frustrations, big feelings and slow-burning stories we all carry but rarely say out loud

 

The moments where all you can do is say, “You actually couldn’t make this stuff up.” ​

So, we decided that we needed to created a place for them & Harboured Resentment was born.

 

Part storytelling project, part cocktail club, part coffee-fuelled coping mechanism and part slightly unhinged hospitality empire, Harboured Resentment turns everyday chaos into drinks, merch, conversations, community & creative content that helps people laugh, connect & feel a little less alone in the chaos of being human.

• Through Coffee & Chaos, we honour the caffeine required to function

• Through Slightly Unhinged Brewing Co, we create merch & brew beverages for the beautifully fed up

• And through the Resentment Rack, we create merch for people who like their humour honest and their boundaries visible.

This is not about bitterness and we're not here to wallow.

 

It's about storytelling, humour, reflection & connection. 

 

Harboured Resentment gives people a place to laugh at the things we all quietly recognise.
